Dimes from Heaven
When people die, are they ever truly gone?
I had heard the saying “pennies from heaven” before, but my coins from heaven seemed to be dimes.
In this memoir, follow how coins and coincidences sent from heaven led Monica L. Morrissey to understand her life as a sensitive person.

Once Upon a Dime:
Heaven is talking to us. Do you know how to listen?
Going through the grief of losing someone can be one of the hardest things anyone can experience. It can shatter our world and make it feel like they are gone forever.
Have you ever wondered if you could receive a message from someone who is no longer with you? What if you were able to connect and feel overwhelming love from beyond?
Before my father died, we found his old coin collection and decided to turn some of the liberty head dimes into necklaces to give as gifts. The process brought us closer and created a bond that continued on after he passed. This is why I knew that when I got to the top of the mountain two weeks after his death, the dime I found was from him. As I wept on top of that mountain, I knew that it was my father reaching out to me. The energy of love and an inner knowing that the dime I found at the top of my climb brought me peace during my grieving process.
Now, I want to give you the keys to unlock the invisible door, where we all have the power to connect with loved ones and feel that deep sense of peace, joy, and love within our souls. Once Upon a Dime teaches you how to connect to the invisible energy that surrounds our physical, human world. Let’s grieve together in a different way so that we feel our loved ones’ love and carry on their legacy. Heaven is talking to us. Let’s wake up and discover the keys to know how to listen!

Dimes From Heaven:
How Coins and Coincidences Helped Me Discover My Life as an EmpATH
“Was my father actually sending me dimes to show me he wasn’t really gone? My mother seemed to be sending pennies all the time, but my dad was pretty clever.
Everyone around me knew that I was sensitive, but it took me writing about a few special dimes to discover what it meant to be an empath. Along with the messages from Heaven, I share how I am listening to the positive voice inside my head.”
This book is about so much more than dimes, yet without them, I wouldn’t have written it.
Once Upon a Dime - Book ReviewS
“Once Upon a Dime by Monica Morrisey was a beautiful, moving, and evidential (of an afterlife) story. This is a sequel to her first book on the topic, Dimes from Heaven, with of which shares how and why dimes became a sign from her dad after he passed away. Monica not only shares some pretty mind-blowing times she got dimes, and how other people got dimes (or other signs), but also helps guide us on how to notice signs and communications from our discarnate (what I refer to as our loved ones who have passed away). She has some interactions with other people with some unexpected twists that are a little hard to dismiss as coincidence.
Monica also openheartedly shares about grief, loss and learning to be honest with our emotions and that all of our relationships with those who we love are not perfect - they can be far from it, but we love them anyway.
She is very open about herself, her loved ones, who she is, and her life’s ups and downs in a brave and relatable way. Whatever you think about an afterlife, you will come away from reading this thinking that these are some remarkable “signs” that are hard to just dismiss.
P.S
1 - I never use cash. Ever.
2 - I never take coins on the VERY rare occasion I use cash
3 - I went to sweep my floor and clean a bit before getting to work so the place is comfy
And…. I found A DIME!!!!
4 - also note bc I’m sciencey I asked as an experiment to get a dime in some way when I finish the book - I didn’t think I would! In fact I forgot I had even asked over a week ago”

Losing my mom at the age of 29, I found myself angry because I had so much left to say to her. I always kept thinking, if only I could tell her this one last thing. Then I got the privilege to read, "Once Upon a Dime" by the amazing Monica Morrissey. This book helped me realize that I can talk to her and the signs I received confirmed just that.
The sign from my mom is a Cardinals. Before my mom passed, she gave me a little cardinal luck charm with a prayer to hold on to for my speaking events. I used to be deathly afraid of public speaking. While reading "Once Upon a Dime", I noticed that anytime I have a moment of question, a Cardinal comes to my window. Then I notice I started to see them everywhere from tablecloths to pictures to the outside.
Receiving signs from Heaven can be powerful and has changed my life. In this book, Monica provides insightful guidance on the process of recognizing and interpreting these signs. Drawing on both personal experiences and expert knowledge, Monica offers practical exercises to help readers develop their intuition and cultivate a deeper connection. Whether you're seeking comfort, guidance, or looking for confirmation, this book is a must-read, highly recommended!"
